Summer TMPL Refreshing-Summer Bible Study

All ladies are invited to join the Tuesday Morning Prayer Ladies for their upcoming summer bible study! This is an 8-week study on The Story of Joseph: How God Can Redeem Imperfect Families. It will be every Tuesday morning from 9am-10am, June 17-August 12 (skipping Sports Camp week, 7/22). Childcare will be provided, please let Sam Stahl know if you are bringing your kids, ryenandsam@gmail.com. And if you have any questions, please reach out to Leslie Jett, lesliejett@gmail.com. Be sure to have the first lesson (through page 38) done before the first meeting on 6/17.

Refresh Women's SBCV Conference

Mary Wiley is a Bible teacher and the author of Everyday Theology: What You Believe Matters and Our Highest Good. She holds an MA in theological studies and serves as the associate publisher at B&H Publishing Group. She and her husband, John, have three children and live in the Nashville area.

Refresh Women's Conference- VOLUNTEERS

We need volunteers for the upcoming Refresh Women’s Conference. The conference is on Saturday, April 12th, 8:30am-2:30pm. We will need help the Thursday and Friday before as well as Saturday, during and after the conference. This is a great opportunity for families with teens to serve together! Please let us know how you can help! Sign up to VOLUNTEER HERE!

Thursday/Friday evening: 

  1. Set Up (moving chairs and tables, men, women, & teens)

  2. Decorating

Saturday: (great opportunities for our teen girls to serve)

  1. Breakfast crew- no cooking, light breakfast that will need to be set out and then cleaned back up

  2. Greeters (welcoming guests/attendees)

  3. Hostess (giving directions)

  4. Lunch crew- no cooking, boxed lunches that will need to be set out and then cleaned back up

  5. Clean Up (men, women and teens)

  6. Sunday Church Reset (moving tables and chairs, men, women & teens)

Thanksgiving Dinner

Sunday, November 10th at 4pm

Historic Whitewood- 2987 Huguenot Trail, Powhatan

Please RSVP by November 3rd, seating is limited to 250 people-  $5/adult, $3/child (12&under)- $15/family max -REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

We will need donations of frozen turkeys (please drop off in church freezer b by 11/3) and pies (fruit, pumpkin or chocolate, please drop off Sunday morning of the event). Red Lane will provide the sides.

We will also need volunteers to help with set up, serving, breakdown and parking. You can let us know if you can serve during this registration process.
