Dr. Michael Curry joined our staff as Transitional Interim Pastor in May of 2009. Michael is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina; North Carolina Baptist Hospital School of Pastoral Care in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Saint Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, Maryland. Michael was called to the ministry at an early age. He served as a Youth Pastor at the age of seventeen and a Pastor at age nineteen. Michael, his wife Debbie and son Bryan are natives of Roanoke, Virginia. |

Rev. Eric Haney joined our staff as Minister of Youth and Music in August of 2006. Eric is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Bible with a concentration in Youth Ministries. He was ordained in June of 2006 by New Morgan Hill Baptist Church in Candler, NC. Eric was saved at the age of 15 at Youth Camp in Fort Caswell , North Carolina . He felt the call to follow God in the ministry right away and surrendered to this call at the age of 16. Since then, God has allowed him the privilege of serving Him in many capacities. His wife Anissa plays keyboard, sings with him on the praise team and works with him in the Youth Ministry. The Haneys also have two young boys. |

Susan Dorner joined our staff as Ministry Director of Children and Discipleship in June of 2007. She was saved at the age of 8 at Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton, Va. Susan is a graduate of Radford University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Music Education. She has taught elementary age children for 15 years, served on the mission field in Yokohama, Japan and the inner city of Newport News , Va. and helped plant a church in Virginia Beach, Va.
